• Location: Austin, TX 78704 (Texas nursing jobs)\n
• Healthcare Setting: 34-bed Telemetry Unit\n
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: October 20, 2025\n
• End Date: January 19, 2026\n
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360 - $1460\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (may be 1:5)\n
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required\n
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment (GE Telemetry, Welch Allyn Vital Signs)\n
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably MediTech\n
• Strong communication and team-oriented skills\n
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications preferred\n

\n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy telemetry unit\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients\n
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately\n
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and patient care technicians to optimize patient outcomes\n
• Utilize wound vacs, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing as needed\n
• Document patient care and assessments in MediTech EMR system\n
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compassionate healthcare environment\n
