Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct independent Telecommunications engineering work requiring judgment in evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques and criteria.
- Support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of ICT-Telecommunications components and processes.
- Develop conceptual designs for Telecommunications engineering projects with specialized or unique requirements.
- Interpret new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance data.
- Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to upper management.
- Support preparation of cost estimates, staffing requirements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with client representatives to obtain approval of Telecommunications-related work.
- Conduct or lead special studies on new telecommunications methods, materials, and technologies.
- Participate in and provide input to technical training and educational programs as directed.
Skills:
- ICT-Telecommunications system design and engineering
- Network topology development and design
- DAS, Data Center, and Horizontal Distribution systems
- OSI Model understanding and application
- Rack layout and infrastructure development
- Engineering standards, procedures, and client design programs
- Technical documentation and stakeholder communication
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound engineering judgment.
- Strong understanding of technical and cost considerations in Telecommunications design.
- RCDD certification.
- Experience designing and evaluating ICT-Telecommunications systems.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or international equivalent).
- 8–10 years of relevant Telecommunications engineering experience or 12–14 years of related work experience.
