Plan and conduct independent Telecommunications engineering work requiring judgment in evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques and criteria.
Support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of ICT-Telecommunications components and processes.
Develop conceptual designs for Telecommunications engineering projects with specialized or unique requirements.
Interpret new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance data.
Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to upper management.
Support preparation of cost estimates, staffing requirements, and project schedules.
Coordinate with client representatives to obtain approval of Telecommunications-related work.
Conduct or lead special studies on new telecommunications methods, materials, and technologies.
Participate in and provide input to technical training and educational programs as directed.

OSI Model understanding and application
Rack layout and infrastructure development
Engineering standards, procedures, and client design programs
Technical documentation and stakeholder communication
Ability to work independently and exercise sound engineering judgment.
Strong understanding of technical and cost considerations in Telecommunications design.
RCDD certification.
Experience designing and evaluating ICT-Telecommunications systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or international equivalent).
8–10 years of relevant Telecommunications engineering experience or 12–14 years of related work experience.
