North Point Yacht Sales is an authorized dealer for several lines of powerboats and sailboats along with an extensive list of brokerage boats. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, and a passion for boating to fill the Marine Service Advisor position.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently, and with internal team members on the company’s goals and objectives. A strong ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and partners to create lasting relationships is key for this position. Required knowledge of boats ( and their operation ), marine engines, repairs, and maintenance for boats is necessary. Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the Service Advisor Specialist will be responsible for:

• Generating service jobs, distributing to service technicians and managing process.
• Answer phones and communicate with customers, act a liaison between North Point and the customer.
• Understand customer’s needs and expectations, communicating them with Service Manager.
• Assisting Service Manager in writing new work estimates, coordinating work schedule with service technicians and subcontractors.
• Reviewing service technician timesheets and entering in system.
• General sales assistance for boat shows and other marketing events.
• Create kits of materials for various routine jobs.
• Invoicing – work closely with Office Manager to produce accurate and timely work order invoices.
