Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Texas School Psychologist (LSSP/PSYCH) position is available to support K-12 campuses in West Houston, TX. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering comprehensive school-based psychological services within a public school environment. The contract extends through the end of the current school year with a commitment from ASAP to June 4, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Provide behavior support and intervention planning for students requiring specialized assistance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Offer consultation services aimed at improving student outcomes and supporting inclusive educational practices.
- Maintain compliance with state and school district policies and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Texas LSSP or Psychologist license is required; submission of a license screenshot is necessary with application.
- Prior school-based experience is essential, with familiarity working with students with autism and behavioral challenges preferred.
- Ability to complete school district fingerprinting promptly after hire is required.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the West Houston area.
- No part-time candidates; full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) required.
