Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Westerville, OH. The role involves working primarily onsite across two elementary schools, with a hybrid schedule allowing for three days in the office weekly. This contract position extends through the school year, providing stability and the chance to positively impact student development and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with educational teams by attending RTI (Response to Intervention) meetings to support student progress.
- Serve as the case manager for Initial and Tri-annual Evaluations, managing all aspects of consent, planning, and documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive student observations and provide evidence-based interventions.
- Lead meetings related to student evaluations and maintain thorough records.
- Facilitate Medicaid billing processes.
- Coordinate caseload transition with the outgoing School Psychologist, ensuring a smooth handoff of critical information.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification and experience as a School Psychologist with knowledge of K-12 educational environments.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple evaluations and cases efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and external partners.
- Familiarity with RTI frameworks and Medicaid billing procedures.
- Ability to work onsite three days per week with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 3:50 PM
