Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Weslaco, TX is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for a temporary contract position during the current school year. This role supports students' social-emotional and academic development through specialized psychological services.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
• Providing counseling and support to address behavioral and emotional challenges
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
• Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
