Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Waterbury, CT, offering an opportunity to support the academic and emotional development of young learners. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 16th and requires availability for three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social-emotional well-being
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise
• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential/license
• Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
• Ability to work part-time and meet deadlines within the contract period
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
