POSITION TITLE: School Bus Monitor

LOCATION : Districtwide

SALARY: Per Contract

KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

A considerate and responsible individual who is sensitive to the needs of all children
Valid CORI
Fingerprinting results required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome students and assist them on and off the bus/van
Make sure students are safely buckled in their seats. This also includes assisting wheelchair students with seatbelts and attachments
Oversee student behavior while riding the vehicle as well as boarding and departing the bus.
Engage with students to help them feel comfortable and safe.
Cares about students well being
Helps students into the schools if necessary
5 Days a week
Position is split shift approximate hours 6:30am-9:30am and 1:30pm to 4:30pm
