Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in psychiatry and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder)
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews
Qualifications
- Active NP or PA license in Iowa
- Board certification and DEA registration
- Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
