We are seeking a Handyman to become a part of our team in DuPage County, Illinois!

What You’ll Do

• Draft and Present Estimates – Accurately scope projects and provide clear, written estimates to customers before work begins.
• Complete Repairs & Maintenance – Handle small to medium residential and commercial projects, typically ranging from 2 hours to 2 days.
• Communicate with Clients – Explain repair needs clearly, set realistic expectations, and provide accurate recommendations.
• Deliver the Mr. Handyman E xperience– Follow our proven process to provide a seamless, professional, and consistent experience that creates lifelong customers.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must:

• Reside within our service area (Barrington to Burr Ridge, IL)
• Have 15+ years of professional handyman/trade experience
• Own and maintain your own set of professional tools
• Be insurable to drive a company vehicle (clean driving record required)
• Pass a background check and MVR screening
• Be physically able to lift 50 lbs. independently and work safely at heights/overhead for extended periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and take care of the company-provided van

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Commission-based per project, tied to your skills and experience across trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, residential/commercial etc.)
• Benefits after 60 days: Medical, dental, accident, life insurance, AFLAC options
• 401(k) with company match: Eligible after 1 year
• Company vehicle, fuel, and credit card for materials
