Posting Summary Two postdoctoral positions are available in Dr. Shuo Xiao’s lab at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI)/Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University. Positions are funded by NIEHS and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The research focuses on how environmental chemicals and drugs affect female ovarian function and fertility, using 3D ovarian tissue culture, microfluidic, and organ‑on‑a‑chip technologies for contraceptive discovery. Key research projects include: Molecular mechanisms of female ovarian toxicities from harmful algal bloom toxins and climate‑related contaminants Novel ovulation‑based contraceptive discovery Molecular mechanisms of chemotherapy‑induced premature ovarian failure and infertility Qualifications PhD or equivalent in molecular biology, animal science, reproductive/developmental biology, or toxicology. Experience in molecular biology and/or animal studies related to reproductive toxicity. Ability to work independently, use critical thinking, collaborate in team science, and communicate orally and in writing.
