We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings, including construction sites. The Pipefitter will work with a variety of materials and tools to ensure that all piping systems operate efficiently and safely.

Pay: $30.00/Hr - $35.00/Hr

Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems. 
• Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasks 
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings 
• Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position 
• Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks 
• Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets. 
• Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and various power tools. 
• Willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position. 

Education, Skills & Experience Required:  

• Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position 
• Minimum of 1 – 3 years industrial experience is preferred 
• Carbon steel buttweld & carbon steel screwed pipe.
• Clevis/Trapeze hanger installation.
• Stand/Stanchion installation.
• Pipe rigging (chainfalls, come-alongs, telehandlers, and lulls).
• Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings. 
• Able to work independently or as a team player 
• Able to take direction and communicate with others

• Produce high quality of work with zero non conformances 
• Meet project deadlines as assigned 
• Work in a safe manner following Health & Safety policies and procedures 
• Maintain an excellent attendance & punctuality record
