Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Full-Time/Part-Time Opportunity in Altoona/Everett, PA

Location: Altoona & Everett, PA.
Position Type: Part time or full time.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Duration: 3 months contract with extension options available.
Schedule: Sunday-Saturday 7p-7a are the main shifts needing coverage. There are also other potential shift times including 7a-7p and 9a-9p.
Pay Rate: Negotiable by phone.

About the Role

Seeking a dedicated and experienced emergency medicine physician assistant for two hospitals in the Altoona/Everett area. This is a locum tenens opportunity to provide high-quality care in a emergency medicine setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Typically 1-2 patients/hour per provider per shift.
• See patients, perform some administrative tasks (radiology review, blood work review when needed although generally performed by employed staff).
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Pennsylvania state license
• Minimum 2 year of emergency experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
