LHH is seeking a payroll professional for a long-term contract opportunity.
This position is hybrid , offering a mix of remote and on-site work in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities
Execute biweekly and semimonthly payroll cycles with precision and timeliness.
Perform routine audits —daily and weekly—to verify payroll accuracy and apply necessary updates.
Manage and update payroll records, including employee onboarding, terminations, deductions, and benefits .
Ensure payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations .
Generate and distribute pay stubs, W-2 forms, and other payroll-related reports .
Address employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions, and payroll procedures .
Reconcile payroll data and contribute to month-end and year-end financial reporting .
Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency across systems and workflows.
Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews as required.
Pay Details: $29.00 to $34.00 per hour
