Description and Responsibilities:
My client is seeking an Inventory Control and WMS Administrator for their 1M Sq Ft distribution center. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Configure, monitor, and manage the overall performance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency/RF devices, and other technology within the four walls of the building.
- Communicating with IT support, as needed, for configurations or help desk assistance.
- Leading a team of supervisors and teammates, being responsible for their performance and reviews.
- Planning and managing inventory control functions for the building.
- Conducting daily cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Assisting the Operations Team with requests for changes in the system.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will possess the following traits:
- 5+ years of experience leading the Inventory Control functions for a distribution and/or fulfillment center.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding expectations.
- A solid history of developing other leaders to a promotional level.
- A strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft applications, and RF scanning devices.
- Knowledge of processes and flow of an automated distribution center.
- Ability to troubleshoot PC and RF devices.
