We are hiring a CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHAs (Home Health Aide Certification) in the Danbury area to provide home care visits!

\n - Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour
\n - Paid training includes a 4 hour self defense class

Job Summary
\n
The Personal Care Service Aide is a person who provides support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.
\n
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities
\n
\n - Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
\n - Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
\n - May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including: bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including pericare and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet.
\n - Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients personal care.
\n
Experience Desired
\n
\n - Six months experience in personal care or home community-based services preferred.
\n
\n
License Requirements
\n
\n - Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
\n - Current CT CNA or HHA Certification.
\n
