Clinic Description Ellie Mental Health is a growing mental health company serving the Charlotte area. We provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy services. Our team collaborates with clients and community partners to deliver comprehensive treatment.
We are seeking fully licensed therapists competent in individual and couples therapy. Preference given to candidates willing to work with First Responders and LGBTQ+ community members. BIPOC and LGBTQ+ therapists are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities Conduct assessments and ongoing outpatient therapy
Maintain clinical documentation: develop and implement treatment plans, ongoing documentation, treatment plan reviews, revise diagnoses as appropriate
Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
Coordinate care with case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Provide excellent customer service for clients
Collaborate with a dynamic team to fill gaps in the community
Attend and participate in all staff meetings and trainings
Engage in networking and outreach to support community care and stigma reduction
Foster a peaceful and joyful work environment
Required Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited institution
Full independent licensure as LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT in NC
Clinicians with supervisory credentials encouraged to apply
Out-of-state candidates must be in the process of reciprocity in NC
Experience with individuals and couples
Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes; ability to submit documentation timely
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience with LGBTQ+ clientele
Experience with adolescents and teens
General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and documentation
Proficient in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus)
Credentialing with insurance panels (current or previous) is preferable but not required
What Else You Should Know Location: Charlotte, NC with start date in October/November 2025

Hybrid schedule (2 days remote) after a probationary period
Supervisor: Clinical Manager
Salary range: approximately $63,000–$80,000 per year, dependent on licensure, supervisory responsibilities, and caseload
