Financial Analyst – Manufacturing

We’re seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Dixon, IL. This is a high-impact role where your financial expertise will directly support plant leadership, drive operational efficiency, and influence long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting and cost analysis across product lines
- Develop financial models to support quoting, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
- Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning
- Manage and enhance standard cost systems and conduct variance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Materials, and IT to streamline MRP processes
- Prepare monthly earnings packages and contribute to earnings calls
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and internal control standards
- Mentor and support development of junior finance team members
- Promote a culture of safety and inclusion through active engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- MBA or Master’s in Accounting is a plus
- Minimum 6 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong foundation in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning
- ERP system experience required; SAP preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and presentation skills
