The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial electrical projects, from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of electrical systems and construction processes. The Electrical Project Manager is detail-oriented, proactive and capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely on time and within budget.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Weekend work as needed based on project demands

Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, design, and installation processes
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards and codes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with small and large-scale electrical projects
- Knowledge of the electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70, NFPA 70E)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying physical conditions.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors as needed.
Expectations
- Lead and manage all phases of electrical projects from design through installation, ensuring completion within schedule, budget and scope.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to maintain seamless communication and workflow.
- Develop, manage and track project timelines, budgets and scopes of work, making adjustments as needed to ensure project success.
- Ensure full compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards and company quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively identify, communicate and resolve project-related issues.
- Provide regular progress updates, reports and forecasts to senior management and clients.
- Supervise, mentor and develop project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and professional growth.
- Work closely with the Pre-Construction and Pre-Fabrication departments to coordinate design, planning and material preparation.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring goals are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Uphold standards of safety, integrity and excellence in all project operations.
- Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
