Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold the highest standards of quality.
Responsible for on-site coordination of all trades and employees for construction of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Daily jobsite activities for a single project.
- Jobsite safety programs and reporting.
- Scheduling and coordination of Subcontractors and material deliveries.
- Ensuring employee safety and project housekeeping.
- Reporting accidents of any type to the Safety Team in a timely manner.
- Notifying the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager of labor and material needs.
- Keeping daily time records and accurate cost centers for each employee.
- Coding materials to proper cost centers.
- Creating and maintaining daily job reports.
- Obtaining and tracking all necessary city inspections.
- Attending all jobsite meetings.
- Performing weekly review of job costs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have experience supervising numerous commercial, industrial or retail projects in Florida up to $50M.
- 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction.
- OSHA 30 certification.
