Job Title: Cabinet Fabricator / Finisher (Stain & Paint)
Location: Tampa, FL (On-site)
Pay: $20–$28/hour (DOE) + reviews, raises & bonus potential
Job Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri; occasional Sat as needed)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Cabinet Maker / Finish Carpenter who can build clean, square boxes and doors then take them to a high-end finish. If you love stain and paint work (spray, tone, glaze, topcoat) and care about details, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Build and assemble custom cabinets: kitchens, vanities, closets, built-ins
Make shaker, slab, and laminated doors to tight tolerances
Prep, sand, stain, glaze, tone, and topcoat (conversion varnish, lacquer, water-borne)
Spray finish with HVLP/pressure pot; gun setup, viscosity checks, cleaning & booth care
Color-match, create sample boards, control sheen; on-site touch-ups after install
Read drawings and cut lists; measure accurately
Run woodworking machines and hand tools safely
Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
What We’re Looking For
3+ years in cabinet making, millwork, or finish carpentry
Start-to-finish fabrication & assembly skills
Strong stain/paint skills; understands primers, sealers, toners, and film build
HVLP spray booth experience (preferred)
Detail-oriented, reliable, team player who can also work solo
Reliable transportation to our Tampa shop
Nice to have: laminate shop work, CNC basics, bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical
Stand for extended periods, lift 50+ lbs, handle large panels, occasional ladder use
