Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bobcat and Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our recycling center team. This role requires strong equipment-handling skills, the ability to work safely in tight and narrow spaces, and previous outdoor/yard-work experience in a similar environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced recycling facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Bobcat and sit-down forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maneuver equipment in narrow and confined areas throughout the yard.
- Load, move, and organize recyclable materials as directed.
- Assist with general yard operations, including outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience operating Bobcat.
- 2–3 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift (certified).
- Ability to drive safely in narrow and tight spaces.
- Previous outdoor or recycling center experience required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)required.
- Ability to work 45 hours per week , with mandatory Saturdays.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

- Spanish (Required).
- English (Required).
Payrate :
- $20-$25 hourly (depends on experience).
- Bi-weekly pay schedule.
