Base Pay Range $18.00/yr - $21.00/yr Position Summary The Assembler I assembles medical devices consisting of assemblies and subassemblies containing plastic and machined components using handheld and power equipment to follow blueprints and specifications. Under limited supervision, the role performs leak testing, troubleshooting of assemblies, and maintains compliance with FDA, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 guidelines. Utilize blueprints to set‑up each build in accordance with work orders. Assemble components that consist of machined and purchased parts. Perform leak and assembly tests per work instructions. Troubleshoot assemblies that do not pass testing and communicate with engineering when necessary. Verify assembly compliance with quality standards before submission to quality assurance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives. Execute Engineering Work Requests and special sample requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions. Good written and verbal communication skills.
